El Refugio de Caza - The Hunting Lodge

Renovations on Casa El Refugio are scheduled for completion in autumn 2011. Once finished, El Refugio will cater for parties of up to 6, with three double bedrooms, all en suite, an additional w/c, private pool and all modern conveniences. Paired with El Carligto, this will allow larger families or groups of up to 14 to enjoy both properties together. 

El Refugio will offer the same rustic charm and full services as El Carligto, though more contemporary and ethnically diverse elements and decor give the guest house a different feel. Think hand-crafted olive branch furniture upholstered with goat skins and ethnic Mediterranean works of art, creating a rustic-modern, laid back setting for the perfect holiday. The large open plan living room opens up to a stylish kitchen area and dining room with spectacular views over the Mediterranean.

Like El Carligto, El Refugio also boasts numerous secluded terraces and garden areas, including a meditation garden, private master bedroom sun terrace, covered outdoor kitchen/dining area, and elevated dining terrace with spectacular views. The house sits at an even higher elevation than El Carligto, revealing similar magical views from yet a different perspective, where sunset is not to be missed.
